Michigan entered the national championship game as a 74% favourite on prediction markets, on nearly $250 million in total trading volume - the largest NCAA Tournament winner market in history. The championship market had opened at 73% for Michigan after their 91-73 Final Four dismantling of Arizona.
Michigan became the first team in tournament history to score 90+ points in five straight NCAA Tournament games a run that had traders pricing them as heavy favourites all the way through, and which generated the prediction market industry's largest-ever college basketball contract payout.

The Masters generated $108 million in total Polymarket volume - the largest golf prediction market contract ever traded, beating even previous Players Championship and US Open records with 141 active markets covering everything from the outright winner to whether there would be a hole-in-one.
